It isn’t quite land.
It isn’t quite sea.
The shore is some magical combination of the two.
It’s a little like a ritual.
Ritual is often described as time outside of ordinary time. It’s still time, and yet…it isn’t. It’s different. Magical.
Which brings us to Leap Day. It’s a day that isn’t a day. It doesn’t exist, except that there it is on the calendar: February 29, 2016.
A day that isn’t a day just begs for a time that isn’t a time in a place that is neither one thing or another but rather a magical combination of the two.
Once I’m there, I’m going to make an offering – a wish really.
This offering will be in the form of a little origami boat. On that boat will be written a wish dear to my heart – a wish regarding a story I thought up 30 years and is on the verge of being published.
I don’t know the wording just yet; it’ll come when it’s time.
What I do know is that I am releasing my little ship of dreams up to the Universe with a whispered prayer of “this, or something better.”
It will set sail on a day that is not a day, from a place that is not a place, and it will sail off into into eternity.
It’s a little bit scary, giving up the control I think I have, but I trust that whatever the Universe intends to make of my wish, it will be bigger and bolder and more wonderful than what my controlling, little Ego could do.
I have waited four years for the opportunity to do this ritual. It’s that extraordinary.
It’s the kind of extraordinary that has to be shared.
Imagine your own little boat, afloat on a gently lapping shore, setting sail for greatness.
I want more than that, too. I want a fleet of origami wishes!
Imagine that - a veritable fleet of little paper ships setting sail, each the written wish of someone’s heart and soul.
To add your own origami boat to this fleet of dreams, simply pay from the heart with an amount that feels right to you. All the proceeds from this will go towards the costs of self-publishing my beloved story, The Gospel According to Maggie (working title.)
You’ll be “buying into” my dream. You’ll become a valuable part of it.
But here’s the really cool thing – in trusting me with your wishes, I’ll become a part of your dream, too!
Each small victory, and every inch of progress will be shared and celebrated. Each disappointing set-back, and every hurt along the way will be shared and soothed.
And this holds true of everyone taking part in this offer. With this ritual, this fleet of wishes on the water, we will be building an energetic web between us, a connection that will comfort, support, and nurture each and every wish that sets sail that day.
How much is it worth to you?
It’s priceless, right? I understand that. I respect it.
But it is gonna be cold on February 29th and I’m looking at a three mile trek that includes splashing around in 40 degree water! :)
So please give at least $10.00.
Give $18.00 – in Judaism, multiples of chai (18) are good luck to the giver as well as the receiver.
Give $30 – the amount you’d drop at the bookstore on an average (if delightful) Tuesday.
Give $60, or $75, or really let me feel the love and donate $100 or more!
We'll be in it together - I want you to feel that.
And afterward, once our wishes have set sail, I’ll send you a picture of your personal origami boat as well as a write up of our shared experience. I’ll include the story of the day as well as any observations, intuitive hunches and sacred messages I come across in the course of the day.
Is your wish for…
- A successful, flourishing business?
- Financial security?
- True love?
- Conception?
- Overcoming limiting beliefs?
- A quality like happiness, peacefulness, or contentment?
Maybe like me, your dream is to publish a book. (!!!)
Or maybe you're just not really sure, in which case - let's talk about that? Book a free 30-minute consult we'll and see if we can't uncover the perfect wish for this ritual.
Pay from the heart and together we'll make our wishes come true.
This offer is now over. Thank you.
