I need a Goddess!
What I do believe in is…well, honestly – one big energy. There’s a piece of that energy in my heart/soul, just as there’s a piece of it in you.
There was a piece of it in my grandma before she died, and when she passed, that little piece of her went back to the whole. Which is why I can say I believe she’s watching over me, even though I believe in reincarnation. Some little piece of her existence remains there, loving me, while the other part went off to seek new learnings and new adventures in another incarnation.
I call what I believe in The Universe, or The Divine, or Spirit – because that’s what works for me.
It’s a pretty big concept. It’s also very general. On purpose. That works for me most of the time.
But general is no fun during a Boast. I want a better story than that.
Names hold energy. I learned that from Julia Cameron, but I’ve heard it from a lot more folks along the way. When we invoke the name of a specific god or goddess (regardless of belief) we get access to the energy and the story behind it. There’s a whole big specific energy with the name as a placeholder. Call the name, tap into all the energy behind it.
It is the perfect description for what we’re looking for in the Boast.
Once you've decided what you really want to focus on and manifest, you can move on to step 2.

Look for the “a-ha” of recognition.
Look for the response in your body, the release of tension you didn’t know you were holding or a sudden perking up.
Look for the “Oooo…”
Interpretations will vary, but what other people say is less important than how you receive it. You’ll know when it’s right; trust your intuition, even if what you’re reading isn’t perfect.
So now you know how to pick a god or goddess for your Boast. Have you signed up for mine yet? "See" you there!
